Senior Maintenance Technician (permanent): Scale 6 (salary points 19-22) £25,481 - £27,041 per annum 37 hours a week all year round
Dawlish College, as part of the Estuaries Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a permanent Senior Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance support across the Dawlish Hub which comprises Dawlish College and Starcross Primary School. Experience with a range of maintenance is essential. We are looking for someone who will head up the maintenance and cleaning team under the supervision of the Business Manager.
The Trust is looking for an individual with a high professional standard to join the team and to be instrumental in the growth of the Estates Services division of the Multi Academy Trust.
Some of the main duties include:
• To ensure that the maintenance of the academies buildings and environments are effectively undertaken.
• To be responsible for security, cleanliness, porterage, monitoring/liaising with contracts/contractors.
• To ensure the Health & Safety of the sites is maintained to a high standard.
• To assist with maintaining and managing a schedule of works to ensure that the academy sites are kept operational.
• To prioritise work as appropriate to ensure any impact on teaching and learning is minimised.
• To provide a high quality, proactive service to students, staff and visitors.
• To assist with creating and maintaining an effective Premises Team, ensuring that the changing needs of the Trust are met through training and development of the premises staff
