“The college's curriculum is broad and balanced and well matched to the needs of students.” Oftsed 2016

At Dawlish College we provide a broad and balanced curriculum at KS3 as we believe that all subjects have an important role to play in developing you into a well-rounded young person. In order to provide you with a variety of subjects we work across a two week timetable: A week and B week.

By the time you have to make choices about your GCSE options in Year 9 you will have had a solid foundation in most subjects. You will be able to choose from the ‘traditional’ subjects of humanities and languages as well as being able to follow some more creative and practical courses. You will even be able to select subjects that you have not been taught before such as Health and Social Care.

Information about options can be found here.

Information about each subject can be found here.
