Message from Devon and Cornwall Police

Message to parents – The Police and partner agencies are working together to address an increase in anti-social behaviour we have been experiencing in Newton Abbot over the past few weeks. The majority of incidents have occurred in and around the town centre area and the local parks. We would like you to help us by ensuring you know where your children are and by encouraging them to walk with friends. If you are aware of any issues or incidents then please report them to the Police on 101 or by e-mailing 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk

Message to students – The Police are aware of an increased level of anti social behaviour within Newton Abbot at the moment. So please can you think a little bit more about your personal safety. Please walk with friends and ensure someone knows where you are. If you are concerned about friends or are aware that something may be happening please let someone you trust know so that the Police can be made aware. If you see something happening and you think someone is at risk of immediate harm please call 999.

Many thanks for your support.
